The 53rd Wickford Art Festival is taking place on July 11th and July 12th in beautiful, scenic Wickford Village. The festival director, Judy Salvadore, has already started to post important information about the festival on this website link – Wickford Art Festival. In addition, you can find information on the Town of North Kingstown’s website at http://www.northkingstown.org as well as the Facebook page of the Wickford Art Festival – Wickford Art Festival RI. Truly in this era of information online, you can get a ton of great information about this year’s festival on social media as well as the Wickford Art Festival’s website.
At the North Kingstown Blog, we like to find the stories behind the stories. I recently sat down with Judy Salvadore to accomplish this goal. Judy and I will be working on a series of blog articles leading up to the 53rd Annual Wickford Art Festival. These articles will include artist’s bios, acknowledgement of local sponsors, important festival operations concerns and solutions, and much more. In addition, The North Kingstown Blog will be showcasing some of the work being presented at this year’s festival through slideshows and videos.
We have less than 2 months until the start of the 53rd Wickford Art Festival on July 11th and there is a ton of excitement already for this year’s festival.
The RIBBE is The Rhode Island Baseball Experience. It is promoting the game of baseball here in the great state of Rhode Island for the entire baseball world to see. The RIBBE is positive stories, photos, videos, and responsible social media posts. The RIBBE is an information resource for families looking for an AAU team or a summer camp or a great place to buy a first baseman’s mitt. The RIBBE is a network of coaches, tournament directors, parents, leagues, and baseball junkies whose passion of the game of baseball is unquestioned. I believe that providing expert analysis, information and directions to ballfields, and coaching advice from some of the top RI baseball minds will help promote the game of baseball here in RI to a whole new level.
