Boating season for 2015 here in Rhode Island is nearing an end and for some, it is a time to sell or broker your boat. Local advertising, word of mouth, and brokerage firms help spread the word about your boat for sale. At the recent Newport International Boat Show, I met a great brokerage firm out of Florida that buys and sells yachts all over the country and has representatives in 21 of 50 states. This company is called United Yacht Sales and their corporate offices are in Stuart, FL. They have local representation here in Rhode Island via broker Tom Thomas. Their website provides detailed photos, description of the boat inside and out, motor sizes, electrical. One of the interesting seller tools that United Yachts has is their IT department will create a custom website for a yacht priced over $250,000. This, according to their website has “resulted in a significant resource for generating leads and conveying information to our brokers and clients.” If you are interested in working with United Yacht and Tom Thomas, go to www.unitedyacht.com.
Here is a local listing for a 1998 39 foot Sea Ray located right here in North Kingstown. Boat is scheduled to come out of the water later this month, so if you are interested, contact Tom Thomas at 401.862.8620. You can see the detail put into every one of United Yacht’s listings by clicking on a photo below.
The RIBBE is The Rhode Island Baseball Experience. It is promoting the game of baseball here in the great state of Rhode Island for the entire baseball world to see. The RIBBE is positive stories, photos, videos, and responsible social media posts. The RIBBE is an information resource for families looking for an AAU team or a summer camp or a great place to buy a first baseman’s mitt. The RIBBE is a network of coaches, tournament directors, parents, leagues, and baseball junkies whose passion of the game of baseball is unquestioned. I believe that providing expert analysis, information and directions to ballfields, and coaching advice from some of the top RI baseball minds will help promote the game of baseball here in RI to a whole new level.
