In the seated position with your legs bent at around 90 degrees, move the range of motion to the middle of your shin. Then extend upward until your leg is just about straight out. This is a leg extension movement. Now, extend the range of motion device outward and place the back of your lower leg on the pad. Then pull back towards the seat. This is a seated leg curl exercise.
The more diverse station on the Paramount MP 2.0 is the chest, lat pulldown, row, and upper body station. This station offers a number of machine and pad adjustments to accommodate a wide range of user heights and exercises. The seat adjusts up and down. The back/chest pad adjusts back and forth. The press arm adjusts back and forth. All of these adjustments help get you into the proper positioning for each exercise. You can adjust the seat pad, the chest/back pad, and the press arm to create exercises such as chest press, incline press, shoulder press, seated row, and more. In addition, there is a high pulley for lat pulldown or triceps extension movements. There is a mid pulley for abdominal crunches or single arm movements. To the left of this station, is a low row, biceps curl low pulley. Again, consult a certified fitness professional if you are unfamiliar with these exercises and how to set up the machine properly.
The Paramount Fitness MP 2.0 takes up a footprint of 83 inches by 63 inches (length X width). It stands just under 84 inches, which again is ideal for most homes, apartments or facilities with low ceiling heights. It features a solid steel frame which is bolted together.
