Eastern Mass All-Star Baseball Clinics To Be Held This Winter

I love reading about Rhode Island youth baseball players of all abilities. Two players in particular (Rock Arnold and Mason Broomfield) have consistently stood out in local Rhode Island baseball games, tournaments, and competitions. To put it mildly, players and coaches ask if those two will be playing in a particular game because their reputation for excellence is widely known. And they are each building incredible resumes with baseball play outside of Rhode Island in national play and tournaments. I wish these outstanding players and their families the very best as their baseball journeys weave through not only through Rhode Island but the entire United States.

Rock and Mason’s parents are active contributors to my social media pages, providing great comments, photos, and suggestions for promoting the game of baseball. I always look forward to their comments and updates. Recently, I received an email from Eric Broomfield about an upcoming clinic for 12U baseball players. The clinics are hosted by the Eastern Mass All-Star Baseball program. According to their website, “The Eastern Massachusetts All-Stars (12U team) are annually selected and guided by a group of experienced youth baseball coaches with the expressed goal of participating in one of the nations top baseball tournaments, the Cooperstown (NY) Dreams Park National American Tournament Championship (NATC) and another top Tournament in the Northeast.” His son, Mason, and Rock have attended these clinics in the past and according to Eric the clinic offers “incredible coaching and we have found it to be a great experience. Its open to any 12 year old players and there are a bunch of sessions to choose from.”

Here are the clinic dates and times from their website:

The Eastern Massachusetts All-Stars are pleased to offer our annual winter clinics from January to March 2020. Clinics are for 10-12 year old players and are held on weekends at the ITBB facility in Hudson, MA. 2020 Winter Clinic Dates and Website info:

And check out the Cooperstown, NY Dreams Park Tournament website for more information on this exciting national tournament. I found a cool page within their site that has alumni photos and profiles of past players. See if you can pick out any professional baseball players in this photo:

Thanks to Eric Broomfield for the tip on the clinic.

The RIBBE is The Rhode Island Baseball Experience. It is promoting the game of baseball here in the great state of Rhode Island for the entire baseball world to see. The RIBBE is positive stories, photos, videos, and responsible social media posts. The RIBBE is an information resource for families looking for an AAU team or a summer camp or a great place to buy a first baseman’s mitt. The RIBBE is a network of coaches, tournament directors, parents, leagues, and baseball junkies whose passion of the game of baseball is unquestioned. I believe that providing expert analysis, information and directions to ballfields, and coaching advice from some of the top RI baseball minds will help promote the game of baseball here in RI to a whole new level.
