2021 University of Rhode Island’s Rhody Baseball Camp Dates Announced

The University of Rhode Island’s (URI) Baseball program has just released information regarding their 2021 Rhody Baseball Camps. Every summer for as long as I can remember, some of the top area baseball coaches, including those who coach at URI, host a series of baseball camps at URI’s Beck Field. These camps range from Prospect Camps, which invite student athletes interested in attending URI, to Developmental Camps for youth players currently playing Little League®, Cal Ripken, travel, or AAU baseball. My son Harrison participated in the URI baseball camps several years ago and had an amazing week of baseball skills training and development.

David Fischer, URI Baseball’s Director of Operations, is a fantastic resource for me at the University of Rhode Island and really helped me gain access to the campus and learn more about the URI Baseball program this past season. David messaged me this week with some information to share about the 2021 Rhody Baseball Camps. The 2021 Rhody Baseball Camp official website is www.rhodybaseball.totalcamps.com. On the website, you can find schedule dates for the youth camps this summer. There will be two sessions – July 19 – 23 and August 9 -13. The camps are held on the campus of the University of Rhode Island and more specifically, Beck Baseball Field. According to the Rhody Baseball Camp website “our camps are not only held by the entire Rhode Island Baseball coaching staff, but also by current players and top high school and college coaches in the area! Our goal is to provide a positive and instrumental learning experience that is placed within a structured, enthusiastic, and fun environment!”

Another exciting camp offered this summer is the Rhody Prospect Camp. According to the website, “the Rhody Prospect Camp is specifically geared for high school baseball players who have an interest in playing baseball at the University of Rhode Island. A number of our former and current players have made a name for themselves by way of our Prospect Camps. The camp will consist of a pro-style workout (60-Yard Dash, fielding and throwing from position, and batting practice, pitcher bullpens) as well as position-specific skill instruction.

The Rhody Baseball Camp website has a ton of great information about the camps. Pricing, registration forms, what a typical day of practice looks like, meals, directions and so much more. In addition to the website, there is an Instagram page set up. Follow @rhody_baseballcamps or click this link to be redirected to their Instagram page – Rhody Baseball Camps. So check out the Instagram page and the website for the 2021 Rhody Baseball Camps to held at the University of Rhode Island. These camps are always a huge hit for Rhode Island baseball families. Big thanks to David Fischer for emailing me the information to share with all the Rhode Island Baseball Community.
