2022 NCAA Division III Baseball Tournament Puts Rhode Island Schools, Players on National Stage

The 2022 NCAA Division III Baseball Tournament starts today all over the USA in cities like Lynchburg, VA and Brockport, NY and Marietta, GA. Automatic bids were handed out to the respective Division III conference champions and a selection committee awarded spots to several other deserving schools to complete this bracket below and for a chance at a Division III National Championship:

And there is a ton of light shining brightly on several Rhode Island schools as well as players from Rhode Island competing for schools around New England. Johnson and Wales University, Providence received an automatic bid for winning the Great Northeast Athletic Conference. Salve Regina University received a nod from the selection committee. Wheaton College, Endicott College, Bridgewater State all in the tournament and all feature rosters with players from Rhode Island. One thing is certain, Rhode Island baseball will have a presence in determining the National Champion in this year’s NCAA Division III Baseball National Tournament.
