The RIBBE is The Rhode Island Baseball Experience. It is promoting the game of baseball here in the great state of Rhode Island for the entire baseball world to see. The RIBBE is positive stories, photos, videos, and responsible social media posts. The RIBBE is an information resource for families looking for an AAU team or a summer camp or a great place to buy a first baseman’s mitt. The RIBBE is a network of coaches, tournament directors, parents, leagues, and baseball junkies whose passion of the game of baseball is unquestioned. I believe that providing expert analysis, information and directions to ballfields, and coaching advice from some of the top RI baseball minds will help promote the game of baseball here in RI to a whole new level.

November, like most of 2020, has proven to be unpredictable in many ways. This includes the record breaking temperatures we experienced this past weekend. Temperature readings of 70° and higher are “normally” reserved for Spring and Summer, but not in 2020. The end result – Ideal weather for […]
As I am writing this blog, we still do not know the outcome of the 2020 National Election and some of the local Rhode Island Elections. Votes are still being counted, perhaps the one you filled out or the one I filled out. Yes, I voted yesterday morning […]
I met Bryan Murray this past summer at a Providence Slugfest game in East Providence to learn more about the Area Scouts RI program. Bryan is the Regional Evaluator for Area Scouts RI. Great baseball guy and Dad, so we had a ton to talk about. We stayed […]
According to the Boston Globe, regarding a recent press conference by the Governor of Rhode Island, “Spectators are banned from youth sports for the next two weeks. A third of the youth sports cases have been associated with hockey, so rinks and indoor sports facilities will be closed […]
As I am writing this blog, it is snowing outside my windows here in North Kingstown. It is late October and the average normal high temperature, according to WJAR 10 Weather’s website (www.turnto10.com/weather) is 59°. I think we can pretty much toss the word “normal” out of most […]
