The RIBBE is The Rhode Island Baseball Experience. It is promoting the game of baseball here in the great state of Rhode Island for the entire baseball world to see. The RIBBE is positive stories, photos, videos, and responsible social media posts. The RIBBE is an information resource for families looking for an AAU team or a summer camp or a great place to buy a first baseman’s mitt. The RIBBE is a network of coaches, tournament directors, parents, leagues, and baseball junkies whose passion of the game of baseball is unquestioned. I believe that providing expert analysis, information and directions to ballfields, and coaching advice from some of the top RI baseball minds will help promote the game of baseball here in RI to a whole new level.
This fall, I have experienced the bike paths, neighborhoods, city streets, and side roads of Rhode Island on my Trek bike. My upcoming charity ride for the Rhode Island Community Food Bank is just a few days away now. In the past 2 weeks, I have ridden what […]

Yesterday afternoon, under very windy conditions, I rode my Trek bicycle on what I would call Stage 2 of my upcoming Charity Ride for The Rhode Island Food Bank. This stage starts around the border of North Kingstown and East Greenwich, riding the busy and very hilly Route […]
As of Saturday, October 17th, Rhode Island baseball leagues are still actively playing fall baseball games, outside. The weather has been fantastic for the most part and players of all ages are getting their final swings outdoors before Mother Nature calls it quits on the 2020 outdoor baseball […]
Last fall, I had the great fun and pleasure to explore over 59 baseball fields and sports complexes here in Rhode Island on my bicycle. The “Trek Around RI Baseball Fields” so expertly coined by my friend Gary Hornung, took me from Westerly to Woonsocket, North Kingstown to […]
Living in Southern Rhode Island, going to the many beaches and restaurants of South County, I probably drive by the Prout School dozens of times every year. The Prout School is located in Wakefield, next to the entrance of the DMV just off Route 1. Today, I decided […]
This afternoon at McCoy Stadium, several staff members of the Pawtucket Red Sox hosted a clinic for local youth baseball leagues from Providence and Pawtucket. Olneyville at Silver Lake Little League, Darlington American Little League, and the Boys and Girls Club of Pawtucket attended a hitting and base […]
Saturday, October 10th had a nice blend of weather I call “summ-all.” Summer like sunshine shining bright, blue skies matched with the backgrounds of fall foliage, brisk almost tropical storm like winds were in full effect on Saturday. I took the opportunity to travel around to several baseball […]
