Happy First Day of Autumn Everyone! Just a quick update here on the Best Rhode Island High School Baseball Team Since 1972 project...With over 200 votes cast so far via email, at www.theribbe.com, and via social media - St Raphael's Academy, 1996 is still holding a slim lead over Tiverton, 1982. Cranston East, 1979 has surged up in votes with a huge voter response in the last 24 hours. The Bishop Hendricken, 1999 and 2015 fans are getting more vocal as the week turns into weekend. One more week left to vote and I will announce the fan vote next Saturday morning. Thank you to all the players, former players, former coaches, alumni, friends and family for your votes and emails. They are just incredible and this project has far exceeded my expectations.
